Govt. Degree College Kargil organised a program in view of World Mental Health Day in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority Kargil on Monday, October 10, 2022. Hon'ble Judge, secretary DLSA Kargil was the chief guest at the event and students of Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education Kargil too visited the event and took keen participation in the program.
Students from GDC Kargil and Jaffaria Academy spoke on different issues on Mental Health and the Chief Guest highlighted many things regarding the pertinent subject including the laws and rights of people suffering from mental health issues.
Furthermore, the certificates were distributed among the participants.
HoD, Environmental Science GDCK, presented the Vote of Thanks to the Chief Guest and all the visitors on the event. The event was proceeded by Faiza Naaz, student of GDC Kargil.
At last a counselling session was conducted for the Students of Jaffaria Academy by Mr Sajad Hussain, HoD Environmental Science GDCK.
Students said that they were Informed about various important things regarding Mental Health and also the various scopes of Environmental Sciences as a good career option and thanked the program organiser for organizing such a fruitful session.
