Under the aegis of Azadi ka amount maha Utsav department of psychology and History, Govt degree college in collaboration with District hospital Kargil has organised vaccination drive for those students, teaching and non-teaching staff who has not inoculated COVID-19 vaccine.
An inaugural program has been organised which has been coordinated by Mr Gulzar Hussain assistant professor History.
Principal govt degree college kargil Dr. Amina Qari formally welcome all the staff members from District hospital kargil and extended sincere gratitude to join the program.
On the occasion Deputy CMO District Kargil Dr Abass , Dr  Fatima Nissa along with the medical staff were present.The program was addressed by Dr Abbas and Dr Fatima Nissa, to enlightened the audience about importance of the vaccine also initiated  "HAR GHAR DASTAK" campaign on behalf of District hospital Kargil . Dr. Abbas nodal officer District hospital Kargil shared the importance of motivated students to inoculated COVID-19 vaccine and emphasis on  avoiding the rumours spread regarding the side effects of it.
Mr Gulzar Hussain presented a vote of thanks to principal GDC Kargil, all staff members from Govt District hospital Kargil and the department of psychology and History to organise the vaccination drive at college.
More than 100 students along with staff members has been given doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
The whole program was organised by Dr Syed Ali shah assistant professor of psychology and Mr Gular Hussain assistant professor of history.
