AZADI KA AMRUT MOHATSAV TRADITIONAL CRAFT MAKING AND EXHIBITION As a part of series of activities planned for Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav iconic week celebration, the Skill Centre Government Degree College Kargil organized a traditional craft making and exhibition, wherein students of skill centre exhibited their products, demonstrated live design/product making, present craft stories as well as craft talks. Mr. Balwinder Kumar Chief General Manager Power Grid India was the Chief guest on the event with Mr. Fayaz Engineer Power Grid, Prof Amjad Hussain, Madame Lahmo as guest of honours. Dr. Javed Naqi Coordinator Skill Centre in his address welcomed the guests and appreciated them for their presence on the day. Mr. Balwinder in his presidential address appreciated the initiative taken by the college and apprised the students to make all possible contribution for the growth and development of the centre. On the occasion Ms Akila Akhtar Instructor Skill Centre was specially facilitated by the college for recognising her role in the establishment and development of skill centre. The event concluded with vote of thanks by a student participant and followed by group photo session.
